When love can make you squirm

Kathy tries to luv Nic
OMG, Nic was sooooo excited. I'm certain his mom, Kathy, had smooched him hundreds of times before this. I was at Shriner's Hospital in Minneapolis, photographing kids and their families during their annual open house. Nic had just been smooched by one of his favorite nurses. Now it was his mom's turn. Holy Shamoley, Batman! As you can see, Nic was happy happy happy. So thrilled, in fact, that he could hardly contain himself. You can also see that Kathy had a hard time holding onto her squirmy son. I always enjoy when this happens: Love so welcome you can hardly stand to wait for it. Happily, I've witnessed this many times while working on The Smooch! Project. I especially love it when I am lucky and manage to capture the scene with my camera. Huge score for the Smooch!

the artist would really appreciate your support to continue her work.
Thanks so much (+ smooches too, of course!).

Fight, fight, fight for what you love

Ray and Angela luv Hunter
Poor Hunter. He'd had enough lovin' and just wanted out. Wanted out to explore the space where The Smooch! Project was collecting pics during the terribly hot and muggy Minneapolis Uptown Art Fair. Hunter wanted to run, to jump. He wanted to … well, he wanted anything but what he was getting at the moment from his parents, Ray and Angela. But they were just as determined as their young son. They wanted to get that perfect Smooch! Sandwich photo. As you can see, they succeeded. Good job, Hunter, Angela and Ray. You all fought for what you loved and got it too. Even Hunter, who scampered off as soon as his parents put him down down. All around, it was a good day for love.
